The purpose of these championships is to find two clubs in each competition to represent the MCPF at the PAGB championships, projected images at the Arts Centre Warwick University in July and prints at Deeside College Connahs Quay Flintshire in October.
These MCPF championships have proved to be a very popular event. There are judges' medals for their choice of projected image and colour or mono print bringing a total of 15 medals plus the championship trophies to be won. Please make every effort to include this event in your club's programme.
The 2010 Championship will be held on Saturday 10th April 2010
Photofolio is a competition between member clubs with Individual Awards. Entry is Free. Acceptances into the exhibition form the basis of the circulating Portfolio of Prints and Slides which is available to clubs on a pre-arranged circuit. Booking the Photofolio should be arranged well in advance, as a schedule for the year is published.
This is held annually at the end of January. Entry into this competition is essential for Audio Visual workers to apply for awards of PAGB Distinctions. A selection of the Audio Visuals entered are shown at the Midphot Exhibition.
