PAGB Inter- Federation Annual Competitions
Print Competition 2011 Keighley Trophy and Stirling Trophy
The MCPF won both the Monochrome Print and Colour Print Competitions. Congratulations to the all those whose work was chosen to represent the Midlands and especially to Tim Pile (Smethwick PS) who won the Best Colour Print with Pearls and to Irene Froy (Wrekin Arts) who won a PAGB Ribbon for Poplars and Reeds.
Congratulations should also be passed on to the selectors of the entry, Peter Rees, Roger Parry and Graham Hodgkiss. And thank you to the organiser Graham Hodgkiss and his team.
38 Colour prints were selected from 31 authors representing 16 clubs/societies.

Mono prints were selected from 27 authors representing 15 clubs/societies.
The MCPF average mark per print was Colour 11.368 and had 14 prints chosen for the
travelling exhibition

Projected Digital Image Competition 2011 - Arthur Downes Trophy
The MCPF win the PDI Competition
Congratulations to the all those whose work was
chosen to represent the Midlands and especially to Clare Ackford of Duston CC for
winning the PAGB Gold Medal for Best Digital Image with Joys of Summer. Cherry Larcombe
of DAPA won a selectors PAGB Silver Medal with Underneath the Lamplight. Judith
Parry of Smethwick PS was awarded a PAGB Ribbon for Veiled.
Congratulations should also be passed on to the selectors of the entry, Roger Parry and Graham Hodgkiss.
And thank you to the organiser Graham Hodgkiss and his team.
57 images were chosen from 39 authors representing 22 clubs/societies.
The MCPF average mark per image was 11.070 and 39 images have been accepted into the travelling exhibition.
