Data Protection Policy
The Midland Counties Photographic Federation (MCPF) is established with the objects set out in its rules and is a data controller within the UK.
The personal information referred to in this policy may include name, contact details, service records, records of entries to events, and such other information as may be necessary for the effective management of the legitimate interests of the MCPF.
Any person wishing to verify the information held by the MCPF may apply to the General Secretary.
The MCPF collects and holds personal data about:
- The Council, other appointees, Judges, Lecturers and affiliated clubs. This information is published annually in the Federation Guide and Directory.
- Others necessary for the conduct of the business of the MCPF including the contact details of the Chairman/President, Secretary, Treasurer, Competition Secretary and Delegates to General Meetings of affiliated clubs.
- Photographers as the creators of images used in the activities of the MCPF. This information may be used in the publication of catalogues, results, awards, or other publicity related to the MCPF objects.
This personal data will not be made available to any other person or organization without the express and explicit permission of the members concerned.
The MCPF does retain historical archives for example but not limited to, records of meetings, handbooks, catalogues, awards and other event results.
